FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of participating in an IOP?

  1. Maintain Your Daily Routine

We offer Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) and Virtual IOP in our Scottsdale, Chandler, and Tucson locations. IOP gives you the flexibility to continue work, school, and family responsibilities while receiving supportive, professional treatment. With only minor adjustments to your weekly schedule, you can stay focused on recovery without pausing your everyday life.

  1. Stronger Outcomes Than Standard Outpatient Care

Research shows that Intensive Outpatient Programs for addiction can be as effective as residential inpatient treatment and support long-term sobriety goals. IOP offers focused, consistent support without requiring 24-hour residential care—making it an ideal option if you need more structure and accountability than outpatient treatment can provide.

  1. Apply Skills Directly to Everyday Life

Through individual counseling, group therapy, and evidence-based practices, you’ll develop coping strategies and relapse-prevention skills that you can immediately apply in your daily life.

  1. Build a Strong Support Network

IOP connects you with a close-knit community of peers who share your experiences. By listening, sharing, and growing together, you’ll gain a support system that extends well beyond treatment.

  1. Balance Recovery with Your Career

With our flexible addiction recovery program, you don’t have to put your career on hold. IOP allows you to continue advancing professionally while making meaningful progress toward sobriety.

Is an Intensive Outpatient Program right for me?

Many people recovering from alcohol or drug abuse don’t need the 24-hour support or structured day-to-day routines of inpatient treatments that they did in their early days of recovery.

Here are some questions you should ask yourself to help determine if our Intensive Outpatient Program in Arizona is right for you:

  • Do you have a full-time career?
  • Would you prefer to live at home?
  • Do you have responsibilities that make it challenging to attend residential treatment?
  • Could you benefit from a more intensive structure while still maintaining some normalcy?
  • Are you looking for continued care after discharge from a higher level of care?
