So incredibly grateful for everyone that has been there for me throughout my recovery journey. I really miss residential lol. Not only were the staff there absolutely phenomenal and amazingly informed, but most really enjoyed what they were doing. The kitchen and food was five star most days. On top of all that, I got to have my own room and bathroom, queen size bed, vaulted ceilings, and flat screen tv..But, I am extremely grateful for the monthly Alumni events that we have. This place absolutely changed my life. I tried for many years to get my drinking under control and simply couldn’t. I eventually moved to Arizona tried detoxing alone again and couldn’t. In less than an hour from calling them, I was at their facility. In-take took less than an hour and I was detoxing comfortably under the best medical staff in the nation. It was a very easy decision to transition over to their 30 day residential program. My private room was immaculate, the food was phenomenal and their program life changing. Absolutely every single person I met there were in the field out of pure passion and desire to help people. The BHT’s , my case manager, the nurses, providers, fitness trainers, facilitators, HnI panels, alumni coordinator and even house keeping staff and kitchen staff were incredible. My life is forever changed because of Buena Vista staff. I am a fiercely loyal client and am currently in their IOP program. If you are considering any facility anywhere in the country….go here. Buena Vista was great for me. Comfortable, good groups, great staff. If I need to return I know they are there. And I’d recommend this place to anyone in need of recovery from addiction. Lolo at the front is always warm and welcoming, the nurses are caring and always there to help! Can’t forget the BHTs always asking what they can do to help in whatever way they can.

I had the most wonderful experience at this facility!! Everything was comfortable and clean and that made all the difference for my detox period. I absolutely loved this facility. Everyone was so positive and made me feel like I mattered. One woman stood out in the care and genuine good nature she displayed really made me feel like I mattered for the 1st time in a long time. Her name is Lo Lo. She is the receptionist and when I tell you she went above and beyond her position to talk to me and check up on me everyday she was working, even on her breaks. She is an amazing woman with a heart of gold. I even thought about leaving and her comforting words of wisdom and reassurance played a huge part in me taking my next steps to a residential program. She reminded me that good people that want to see me doing good, STILL EXIST IN THIS WORLD. I owe coming here to myself and I give the credit of me staying here and transitioning to more help, to her. They picked the absolute BEST person in the world to be the first person you see when you walk in and the last person you see when you leave. Thank you Lo Lo for everything. Truly. We integrate evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Group therapy. We also have Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) to alleviate withdrawal symptoms in severe cases.
