Kristina Honiotes began as the Chief Operating Officer for Buena Vista Health and Recovery in January of 2023. Prior to taking this role, Kristina was the Chief Nursing Executive Officer of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, located in Phoenix, Arizona. Kristina was responsible for clinical operations, surgical services, quality and patient safety, patient experience, employee engagement, regulatory and accreditation, nursing research and professional practice. Prior to that, Kristina served as the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer for HonorHealth where she was instrumental in achieving their 4th ANCC Magnet designation through driving quality outcomes, patient experience, and employee engagement.
Kristina holds a Doctorate degree in Nursing Leadership from Old Dominion University, a Master’s Degree in Nursing Leadership from Ball State University, and her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Anderson University.
Kristina’s shared passion for improving the health and well-being of the community has led her to lead in healthcare organizations, where she drives outcomes and focuses on people development. Kristina lives in Arizona with her husband and has three children.
