Coming down from Mesa

Mesa and Chandler share the same corner of the Valley, so for most people this is an ordinary drive rather than a piece of logistics to arrange.

Ask about a ride

West Mesa and Dobson

Straight down Dobson or Alma School and you are here. This is the shortest run of any city we serve.

Central and east Mesa

The Loop 202 across and then south, or Country Club down to Arizona Avenue. Either works.

Red Mountain and north-east Mesa

Longer, usually the 202 the whole way. Worth asking about a ride rather than assuming you have to solve it.

No car at all

Say so on the call. Transport within our local service area is something we can often arrange, and Mesa is inside it.

Do you have a facility in Mesa?+

No. Buena Vista operates one facility, at 3033 S Arizona Ave in Chandler, and serves Mesa from there. It is a local drive between two neighboring East Valley cities rather than a journey, which is why we have never seen a reason to open a second building this close to the first.

How far is it from Mesa to Chandler?+

Close. Mesa borders Chandler on the north-east, so depending on where in Mesa you are starting it is a straightforward run down Dobson, Alma School or Arizona Avenue, or across on the Loop 202. We will not quote you a number in minutes because traffic makes a liar of anybody who does, but it is the sort of drive people make without thinking about it.

Can I get there without a car?+

Often, yes. Transport within our local service area is something we can arrange, and Mesa is inside it. Tell the admissions team on the call that getting here is the problem. It is one of the last practical barriers we can take off the table, and it comes up more often than people expect.

Will my family be able to visit from Mesa?+

Yes, and being close enough for that is one of the better arguments for treating locally rather than travelling out of state. Visiting happens on a schedule so it does not cut across the therapeutic day, and your case manager will walk your family through how it works once you are admitted.
