Admissions
Nothing is decided on that first call. You can ask everything you want to know and still say you will think about it. There is no deposit, no commitment, and no one is going to press you into a decision you are not ready to make.

Where you check in, once the call is done.
The first call
It is easier to make a phone call when you know what is coming. The assessment takes about ten to fifteen minutes and covers roughly six things — all of them practical, none of them a test.
Answer as honestly as you can. Understating things is common and completely human, but the answers decide what medical support is ready when you arrive, so accuracy is genuinely in your interest.
You will not shock anyone. Whatever the honest answer is, it has been heard before.
Enough to open a file and start a coverage check. Nothing goes further than our admissions team.
Not to judge the number. It decides whether detox is needed and how much medical support to have ready.
This one matters clinically more than any other. It shapes the timing of everything that follows.
Prescriptions, including anything for mental health. Bring the bottles if you have them.
Depression, anxiety, trauma, a past diagnosis. This is treated alongside everything else, so it helps to know early.
The name and the member ID if you have it to hand. If you do not, your name and date of birth will usually do.
How it goes
Four steps, and the first one is the only difficult one.
01
A short assessment with someone on our admissions team. You can call for yourself or for somebody else, at any hour.
02
We run your benefits on the same call and tell you what we find. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
03
Detox first if your body needs it, residential if that is the better starting point. You will hear the reasoning, not just the recommendation.
04
When a bed is open and coverage is confirmed, admission can happen that day. We will sort out the practicalities of getting here with you.
If we are full that day
Detox and residential capacity changes by the day, which is why no honest website can print a number and expect it to be true by the time you read it. What we can promise is a straight answer the moment you ask.
And if the answer that day is that we are full, the call is still worth making — the momentum you have right now is worth more than the wait.
The assessment and the coverage check hold good. When something opens you are not starting from the beginning again.
Not a vague promise to keep an eye out — an actual call, from an actual person, when a bed comes free.
If waiting is not safe or not realistic, we will help you find a program with space now, including at other facilities in Arizona.
If you are withdrawing and we have nothing today, please do not wait it out at home. Alcohol and benzodiazepine withdrawal can be dangerous. Tell us on the call and we will help you get seen somewhere today, or go to an emergency room.

Straight answers
When a bed is open and your coverage is confirmed, admission can often happen the same day. If you are ready now, say so at the start of the call and we will work to that.
About ten to fifteen minutes with someone on our admissions team: your name and date of birth, what you have been using and how recently, any medications, anything going on mentally, and your insurance details. That is the whole of it.
No. Bring whatever you have — a card, a plan name, or just your name and date of birth. We will do the checking. If you have no coverage at all, say so and we will talk through what the options look like.
Yes. A partner, a parent, a friend or a case manager can start this on your behalf, ask all the same questions and get the same answers about coverage and timing.
Ask about airport pickup if you are flying in. For anything else, raise it on the call — getting to the door is a practical problem and usually a solvable one.
Photo ID, your insurance card, any medications in their original bottles, and comfortable clothes for a few weeks. If you are arriving with nothing but what you are wearing, that is genuinely fine and it has been done many times before.
Yes. What you tell admissions stays with our clinical team, and calling to ask questions does not put anything on a record anywhere.
Then you change your mind. Treatment here is voluntary, and asking questions is not the same as agreeing to anything. You are welcome to call back in a week or a month.
We answer at any hour of the day or night. There is nothing you have to decide on that first call, and nothing you need to have worked out before you make it.
